Brent Irvine started his career in 1992, joining the technology sector when Windows computers were just starting to become popular. Initially providing businesses with computer hardware and networks, this evolved to accounting software to assist business with better reporting than the traditional paper-based systems that were prevalent at the time.
Brent started a business software sales and support company in 1998 and grew it to become the most successful channel partner in New Zealand for the Australian based vendor Attaché. Attaché software acquired the business in 2012 and Brent went on to take on the role of Country Manager New Zealand. It was during this tenure that Brent was first introduced to nem, as a client.
Over the years Brent has helped hundreds of businesses successfully implement systems that resulted in a direct, significant and positive impact to their revenue and overall profitability. He has experience in implementing systems across the construction, electrical, manufacturing, plumbing, retail, transport, and whole distribution sectors, in particular.
In 2017 he was approached by ACM New Zealand (a Division of the global Linfox Logistics Group) to head up sales with a remit to growing market share, revenue and profitability, in the challenging cash in transit industry which supplies cash services to major trading banks, national corporates, and the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.
Brent has recently joined nem in New Zealand in the role of Managing Partner to expand on the services capability of the firm throughout New Zealand and wider Australasian regions.
